Account Opening
I'm presently responsible for the account-opening product offered by my company to financial institutions across the U.S.
This product stands out by being ridiculously configurable and allowing each client to set up their own multi-tenant version of the system. With several tenants, it becomes possible to create a customized digital in-branch channel, to set up multiple differently personalized versions of the site, and to run A/B tests on UI tweaks or major alterations of the business logic.
The account opening product was a proven success at launch, increasing the number of account applications received digitally by 300% for our first client. We saw a clear majority of traffic coming from mobile devices and had a higher conversion rate on mobile.
Wearables
I managed the creation and release of an Apple Watch app extension for my company's mobile banking product. Our wearable banking product released before offerings from all but one of the ten largest financial institutions in the U.S.
Subsequent releases improved the user interface and made the product more brandable for the financial institutions that used it.
Mobile Bill Payment
I managed the Bill Pay features of my company's mobile banking product. For the best user experience, my team focused on supporting the APIs of market-leading Bill Pay vendors, including 2 of the top 4 companies in American Banker's FinTech 100.
Notable released features include E-Bill support, which resulted in 15% more sessions involving Bill Pay on mobile and 25% more bill payments via mobile. End-users normally have a fixed number of bills to pay per month, so this increase showed true improvements to the mobile channel.
